Clinical Staff (OOH and Daytime)

We have a wide range of Clinical staff, including, but not limited to, Health Care Assistants, GPs, Trainee Doctors, Practice Nurses, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Pharmacists and Mental Health Nurses, who provide all the patient facing services within Cumbria Health.

Driving

Our Drivers are responsible for safely transporting our medical staff to patient’s homes during out-of-hours periods, whilst ensuring the vehicle and all equipment are in proper working order.  Our Drivers work from one of our many bases across Cumbria.

We have a range of different Office and Administration roles. These include (but are not limited to):

Office and Admin roles based at HQ

Digital Support Analysts, who provide technical administration and user support, as well as managing the onboarding and offboarding of staff, ensuring access to clinical and non-clinical applications. 

Rota Coordinators, who coordinate the clinical and non-clinical rota planning for Cumbria Health. They are instrumental in filling clinical shifts, and they ensure all shifts are fulfilled. 

Payroll and Finance staff are responsible for managing for all aspects of the organisation’s finances and payroll needs. Including budgeting, financial planning and accounts. 

Controllers, are responsible for taking urgent primary care calls from the public and healthcare professionals. They liaise with a wide range of internal and external personnel. 

Workforce and Occupational Development staff focus on managing the employee lifecycle within the organisation including, recruitment, learning and development, managing employee relations and performance, fostering a positive workplace culture to support its employees. 

Practice Staff

Practice staff help support the clinical staff and overall running of the practice from greeting patients at Reception, to dispensing patient prescriptions. The workforce includes Receptionists, Practice Managers, GP Assistants, Dispensers and Medical Secretaries, not forgetting the clinical staff.
